Action K9 Security Limited is the data controller for website enquiries. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 07538521.

02 · The brief
Information we collect
Both enquiry drawers collect the contact information you enter: your name, company, telephone number, email address and preferred contact method.
The security brief also collects the service requested, urgency, site postcode or town, site type, preferred start date, cover pattern, expected duration and the site overview you provide. The working-dog buyer brief instead collects the dog or availability requested, intended role, handler experience, preferred training stage, purchase timeframe, postcode or town, and the home, working environment and requirements you describe.
For cybersecurity and AI service enquiries, the brief collects your organisation location, environment, engagement type and project overview alongside the requested service, urgency, preferred start date and expected duration. Please describe your requirements without including passwords, API keys or confidential system details.
The form is designed for operational requirements—not sensitive personal information. Please do not enter access codes, medical information, names of alleged offenders or unnecessary details about other people.
To protect the form from abuse, our server temporarily uses technical request information such as an IP address. It is converted to a short-lived one-way identifier for rate limiting and is not included in the enquiry email.
We normally receive this information directly from the person completing the form.

Providing the fields marked with an asterisk is necessary for us to assess and answer the enquiry. If they are not provided, we may not have enough information to respond usefully.
We do not use website enquiries for automated decision-making or profiling, and submitting an enquiry does not add you to a marketing list.
04 · Delivery
Who receives it
Authorised Action K9 Security personnel receive the enquiry. We use Brevo, provided by Sendinblue SAS, as our transactional email-delivery processor. Brevo processes the sender and recipient details, subject, message content and delivery metadata needed to send the enquiry to our business inbox. Our website-hosting and business-email providers may also process technical or message data where needed to run those services.
We do not sell enquiry information. We may disclose it to professional advisers, authorities or service partners only where necessary and lawful. We will not share sensitive operational details with a proposed subcontractor without an appropriate reason and safeguards.
International transfers
Brevo is based in France and publishes GDPR information and data-processing terms covering its role as a service provider. Where a provider transfers personal information outside the UK or another country recognised as providing adequate protection, we require an applicable lawful transfer safeguard. See Brevo’s GDPR information and terms, including its data-processing provisions. You may contact us for more information about safeguards used by our processors.
05 · Retention and security
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry only while it is reasonably needed to respond, prepare a quotation, decide whether services or a sale will proceed and manage related queries or legal claims. Enquiries that do not lead to work or a sale are reviewed and deleted when they are no longer needed for those purposes. If an enquiry becomes a client or buyer relationship, relevant records are retained under our contractual, accounting and legal retention requirements.
Brevo creates transactional delivery logs. Before production delivery is enabled, we will configure automatic log deletion for the shortest practical available period and prevent new email previews from being stored. Brevo explains these controls in its transactional retention guidance.
Access is limited to people who need the information for their work. The delivery integration keeps its credentials on the server and does not expose them to the browser.
06 · Your control
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy. You may also complain if you believe we have not handled your information properly.
Your right to object
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that use of your personal information. Contact us and explain your circumstances so we can review the request.
To exercise a right, email contact@actionk9security.co.uk. We may need enough information to confirm your identity before acting.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office through ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the opportunity to address the concern first.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, and the enquiry form does not place a cookie. Essential hosting and security systems may process basic request logs to deliver and protect the site. We will update this notice and request consent where required before adding non-essential tracking.
