The visit pattern is agreed around the requirement. Where appropriate, varied timing can make the security presence less predictable.
Can mobile patrols cover several premises?
Yes. Provide the addresses, access arrangements and required checks so the team can assess a workable route.
Can patrols respond to an alarm?
Only where a specific response arrangement has been agreed. A patrol service should not be assumed to include keyholding or alarm response unless confirmed in writing.
Will we receive proof that a visit took place?
The reporting method should be agreed in the proposal. Ask it to specify what visit record is produced, what it contains and when exceptions are reported.
Can patrols lock or unlock a building?
Only where opening or closing duties, keys, alarm codes, authorisations and failed-access procedures are specifically included in the assignment.
